A focused 60-minute, story-led times-tables session that helps children build confidence with calm, tactile practice. Friendly, doable, and even a little bit magical.
 
What to expect
Welcome & settle (5 min) – names, seating, gentle ice-breaker
Warm-up patterns (10 min) – skip-counting, rhythm, movement
Story-led practice (20 min) – arrays & number stories using wooden aids
Tactile tools (15 min) – ruler/blocks activities for recall
Wrap-up (10 min) – quick check-in, parent handover
 
Learning focus
Children develop times-tables fluency through story-based tasks and tactile tools. We work on patterns, number sense and recall (e.g., 2s/5s/10s, moving into 3s/4s/6s as appropriate), using wooden aids and calm routines that make multiplication feel friendly, doable, and even a little bit magical.
